Lwrc M6 Ic - Looking for a new rifle? One of the most popular rifles to recommend to people for several years now is the LWRC M6IC and for good reason, it's a feature packed rifle at an extremely affordable price.

Most people have probably heard of LWRC, but I doubt many know what it means. LWRC stands for Land Warfare Resources Corporation, but it is not known as LWRC International, LLC, which is funny if you know anything about business structure, the name of the corporation that is in the LLC makes me laugh.

One of the reasons the LWRC M6IC is such a value for the price is all the features the rifle has.

Some of the features are just nice, some of them greatly improve the weapon's functionality.

Like many rifle manufacturers, LWRC has been using Magpul grips for a long time and you will need the many photos on the internet of LWRC rifles and Magpul grips.

The custom grip reminds me of the Magpul K grip as the LWRC grip has a slightly sticky texture. The handle has a unique pattern as well as a unique feel overall.

I like the texture on the front and back of the handle as it provides a good grip.

The throw safety lever is the same length on both sides of the rifle and is located quite high.

It provides a nice edge to rest your finger on so you can easily fire the gun or on safety.

It also has nice milling with the center of the selector hollowed out. This is only aesthetically pleasing and serves no useful function.

The magazine opening on most AR-15 type rifles is usually only on the right side of the firearm.

On the M6IC, the magazine release option is located on both sides of the gun. On the right side of the gun you have the standard magazine release button.

There is nothing particularly unique about how the magazine release button works on the right side of the gun, so it will be very familiar to you.

The left side of the gun has an additional paddle that turns the magazine release lever and allows the magazine to drop freely.

Ambidextrous magazine releases aren't anything particularly new, but I really like having the ability to run your magazine from both sides if needed.

The slide stop/slide release, whatever you want to call it, is another control that is dual purpose and extremely easy to use on either side of the rifle.

If you have experience with an AR-style rifle, you know that the stop is usually located on the left side of the gun, usually right above and in front of the trigger.

You would normally use your left thumb to depress the bolt release button if you were just loading a fresh magazine into the gun, or if you need to lock the release bolt, you can depress it while pulling the charging handle with your right. hand.

With the LWRC M6IC, you can use your trigger finger to depress the same style release button to release the bolt after loading a loaded magazine.

This is nice because you will be able to train to keep the rifle up and on sight while changing the magazine and in theory with very little movement of the rifle itself.

The charging handle on the LWRC DI has two large pull tabs on either side of the charging handle.

It reminds me of the Radian Raptor charging handle and works flawlessly. This adds to one of the many nice things about this gun, you don't have to change this part to get a high quality charging handle that works.

While the trigger is nothing special for a factory mil-spec trigger, it is good and gets the job done.

The only major difference with this trigger is the lack of attachment. The break is extremely clean. I like this trigger, the only thing I would change is if it was a flat trigger.

One of the unique things about the LWRC rifle is the QR code on the side of the gun.

The code is actually called a Unique Item Identification Code, or IUID, and is used by the US military to scan and track inventory.

While this barcode doesn't do much for the average person, it's a unique and cool feature of the gun that is, if nothing else, a cool talking point.

The barrel is swivel and I mean that because you can't miss the LWRC barrel. They have a spiral groove on the barrel that is hard to miss.

The groove goes from almost the top of the tube to the tube nut. This pipe looks great and also helps reduce weight on the front of the gun.

I have a 16″ LWRC M6IC, but this barrel profile is found on almost all of their rifles. I don't see any downsides to this design and I really like how mine is so far!

The grip is one of the few downsides to this gun, but let me address this a bit before you jump to judgment.

Meet The Lwrc Ic Spr: A Premium (and Best?) Ar 15 Rifle

One of the main reasons I don't like the grip is that it's extremely proprietary, and I mean that in two ways.

Unfortunately, LWRC has its own mounting system. It resembles the M-Lok, but has rounded corners. One good thing is that it comes with track plates and a manual stop.

But this limits you in attaching accessories, but we will discuss this further in the accessories section.

Lwrc M6 Ic

Overall, the grip feels great in your hands and is extremely well made. The stock is a one-piece free-floating mount and attaches only to LWRC's proprietary upper receiver.

If you're missing a super tough rifle bag, you should check out our Tactical Rifle Holster as well as our Bronx Concealed Rifle Pouch.

If this isn't in your budget, check out our best bags from the range. Make sure you find a solid carry option so you can get to and from the range with ease.

Accessories are an expensive part of gun ownership if you ask me! Since you can never just buy a gun, you have to trick it or it just feels incomplete!

If you want an SPR or DMR style rifle where you add a scope or LPVO to the rifle to be able to shoot at longer ranges, this gun will easily accept a scope or LPVO and would work well for that application.

Of course, if you're using this rifle to shoot under 100 yards, you might want to consider a red dot sight, and the options for an AR-15 red dot sight are endless.

Rail covers are located on both sides of the rail and make holding the rail a great experience and also help protect your hand from the heat of the barrel during rapid and extended shooting.

The official model name for this pistol is the LWRC IC DI Standard 5.56. But as you can see in the pictures above, the lower one is labeled M6IC and the upper one is labeled IC-DI.

Lwrc M6 Ic

The overall look of the gun is well made and fits well. Although at first glance the gun looks like a standard AR-15, when you take a closer look you will see that a lot of attention has been paid to the details.

Lwrc M6 Ic Spr Sweetness

The 5.56 NATO/.223 round is what the M6IC is using so far and it has fired everything I have thrown at it.

My final thoughts on this LWRC rifle are: it's fantastic. If you're looking for a quality gun that brings a ton to the table, look no further than this LWRC DI rifle.

If you are looking for a gun that accepts almost every accessory known to man, this may not be the gun for you.

Although the LWRC rifle has picitanny rail mounting options and accessories, it is not as versatile as the M-Lok system.

I still wouldn't switch to the LWRC rifle, even with its long list of proprietary parts and features, the rifle itself is high quality and a fantastic AR-15.

The rifle comes with so many upgraded parts that you hardly need to buy any parts for sale to get this gun "just right".

Since LWRC is a high-end brand, it's usually not the first AR brand people hear about. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about LWRC.
